During this week’s episode of UFC Tonight on FUEL TV, it was announced Terry Etim has suffered an undisclosed injury that will force the lightweight out of his “UFC on FOX: Shogun vs. Vera” shootout against Joe Lauzon.
This marks the second time their tango has been nixed because of the Brit. The 155-pounders were initially slated to meet at UFC 118, but Etim had to withdraw with a rib injury.
The UFC is currently scouring their roster for a suitable substitute to meet Lauzon in the August 4th show.
Lauzon was last seen being put to sleep by Anthony Pettis at UFC 144. J-Lau has only won five of his last nine scraps.
Staples Center in Los Angeles, California hosts the bash.
