The middleweight rematch between UFC champion Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen is so highly anticipated that the 185-pounders got their very own press conference to promote Saturday’s scrap.
To ensure Tito Ortiz (Pictured) gets his share of the spotlight as he enters his final Octagon foray, the UFC has arranged a second pre-fight presser for “The People’s Champ” and opponent Forrest Griffin at Encore’s XS Nightclub at 2PM ET/11AM PT.
Cung Le and Patrick Cote will also be at the podium. UFC commentator Jon Anik hosts Thursday’s gathering.
Today’s festivities are free and open to the public.
Ortiz will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame on Saturday, just hours before he completes his trilogy against the former “The Ultimate Fighter 1” winner.
The light heavyweights co-headline this weekend’s pay-per-view broadcast.
