The UFC has just added some depth to their light heavyweight pool. On Thursday, it was announced Jimi Manuwa (Pictured) had inked a multi-fight deal to join the world’s premier mixed martial arts promotion.
Manuwa confirmed the signing on his Twitter account, then proceeded to re-tweet nearly every congratulatory message sent his way.
The Brit is perfect through his first 11 professional fights. He’s ended all of his bouts via devastating finish, 10 via some form of knockout and one by submission.
“Poster Boy” was last seen posting a TKO victory over Antony Rea at “BAMMA 8” in December.
The 32-year-old reportedly turned down a UFC contract a few years back, but has decided now was the perfect time to take his talents to the Octagon.
According to the trusty rumor mill, Manuwa will make his big league debut in front of his countrymen on September’s Nottingham card.
