If you thought the Octagon would be taking a brief hiatus following Saturday’s UFC 148 extravaganza, the planet’s premier mixed martial arts promotion was actually just getting warmed up. The Ultimate Fighting Championship is right back at it Wednesday with “UFC on FUEL TV: Munoz vs. Weidman.”
A critical middleweight showdown with Mark Munoz (Pictured) and Chris Weidman headlines the freebie fight card. A light heavyweight shootout between Joey Beltran and James Te Huna will serve as the co-featured attraction.
HP Pavilion in San Jose, California hosts tomorrow’s bash.
FUEL TV broadcasts the main card live beginning at 8PM ET/5PM PT. Although an official announcement hasn’t been made, the UFC’s Facebook page is expected to offer a live stream of the night’s preliminary action.
