Edson Barboza Advances to ESPY Finals for ‘Best Play’

UFC kings Anderson Silva and Jon Jones aren’t the only mixed martial artists with vested interests in the 2012 ESPYs. Lightweight up-and-comer Edson Barboza (Pictured) and his spinning wheel kick have just advanced to the finals for “Best Play” of the year.

Unfortunately for Terry Etim, he’s on the wrong end of the highlight reel strike that is being relived or seen for the first time by sports fans from all over the planet.

Barboza put the Brit to sleep with one of the most spectacular shots the Octagon has ever witnessed at UFC 142.

Could this finally be the year a mixed martial artist takes home an ESPY? It’s up to you guys, so vote HERE and make sure our voices are heard.
