While Renan Barao (Pictured) will be entering his first championship affair on Saturday at UFC 149, the Brazilian is pegged as nearly a 2-to-1 odds-on favorite to leave Canada with the interim bantamweight hardware in tow.
Opponent Urijah Faber, on the other hand, comes in just behind as a +155 underdog to win his first title fight since June of 2008 when he was running the WEC’s featherweight division.
Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary hosts this weekend’s bash. The pay-per-view broadcast airs live in North America at 10PM ET/7PM PT.
