It may officially be UFC 149 fight week, but fanboys from across the globe are still clamoring over the Octagon’s last pay-per-view broadcast. Thankfully for fight fans, UFC president Dana White’s (Pictured) latest video blog features backstage footage from the night Anderson Silva humbled Chael Sonnen … again.

There wasn’t anything too compelling in the clip, but it’s always interesting to see how fighters act behind the curtain when thousands of eyeballs aren’t fixated on them.

Of interesting note, Tito Ortiz told the physician during his post-fight examination that he had 50 percent of the meniscus removed from his knee eight weeks prior to his unanimous decision defeat to Forrest Griffin. The surgery prevented him from executing the cardio needed during his final fight camp.

And you say Tito is an excuse-maker … The Hall of Famer didn’t mention that once during his post-fight interview or during the post-fight press conference.

Speaking of Forrest, the video also captures the chat White had with Griffin about bolting from the cage before the scorecards were read. The talk wasn’t nearly as stern as White made it out to be.

Ronda Rousey also makes a cameo in the blog. Unfortunately, the Strikeforce bantamweight champ was fully clothed.

UFC 149 takes place this Saturday inside in Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Canada.
