Here is the play-by-play from Riddle vs. Clements:
Riddle landed a momentary takedown. Clements tags him with a big left hand. Riddle nails him with a kick to the midsection. Referee Josh Rosenthal stepped in thinking it was a low blow, but it wasn’t. Time was never officially stopped. Lost opportunity for Riddle. Riddle secures a takedown and takes his back. He decides to let Clements back up. Interesting…
Riddle grabs a hold of a single-leg and gets a takedown. He advances to his back, slaps on a body triangle and has over three minutes to work. Clements lands a big elbow on the ground. Riddle is simply smothering him on the canvas. Clements finally wiggles free. Clements scores a takedown and tries to flurry before the horn blares.
Riddle nails him with a head kick. He trips him to the mat for a second, but Clements gets right back up. Clements attempts a spinning back-fist, Riddle ducked and caught him in a standing arm triangle. Riddle trips him to the ground and Clements is forced to cry uncle. That was pretty slick by Riddle.
