Just over two months after ramming his $190,000 Bentley into a telephone pole in Binghamton, New York, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones (Pictured) can officially put his DWI case to bed.
The skyrocketing 25-year-old was sentenced Tuesday in Binghamton City Court.
According to PressConnects, Jones was issued a $1,000 fine and had his driver’s license suspended for the next six months.
Jones also has to complete a ‘victim impact panel’ within the next 90 days and install ignition interlocks on all of his vehicles.
On May 19th at around 5AM, Jones was arrested for suspicion of DUI after driving into a telephone pole near the corner of Grand Boulevard and Helen Street in Binghamton. He plead guilty to DWI shortly after.
Jones is thankful he can finally put the unfortunate incident in his rear-view mirror.
“Blessed to still have the full support of Broom County/ all my fans and my DWI case officially behind me. Moving forward,” Jones tweeted after sentencing.
