Since Ronda Rousey is the talk of the mixed martial arts world this week, let’s just keep the WMMA bandwagon rolling by discussing the most popular all-women’s MMA promotion going.
For the first time in company history, a title fight headlines an Invicta Fighting Championships show. Jessica Penne (Pictured) battles Naho Sugiyama on October 6th at “Invicta 3” to become the atomweight champ.
Invicta FC also confirmed the event’s complete 13-bout lineup.
Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas hosts the shindig. Tickets will go on sale shortly.
No word from the promotion on how the scraps will be made available for viewing. However, Invicta offered a live stream of their first two events on their official website.
