Strikeforce Yuri Villefort

With the addition of the welterweight affair between Yuri Villefort (Pictured) and Nah-Shon Burrell, as well as the female fight with Cat Zigano and Amanda Nunes, nine scraps have now been confirmed for “Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Healy.”

Villefort ended his two-year hiatus due to injuries this past May. After starting his career with a perfect 6-0 mark, the Blackzilian suffered his first defeat in a split decision to Quinn Mulhern in his Strikeforce debut.

Burrell is also looking to bounce back from a loss. “The Rock-N-Rolla” had his six-fight winning streak snapped by Chris Spang on the same night Villefort suffered his first professional blemish.

Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, California hosts the September 29th show.
