‘The Ultimate Fighter 17’ Tryouts on September 17th in Las Vegas

UFC's The Ultimate Fighter

Calling all wannabe Octagon superstars! The UFC and FX will be holding tryouts for “The Ultimate Fighter” on September 17th in Las Vegas. The 17th season of the long-running reality series features the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions.

Auditions will be held in the Grand Ballroom at Palace Station Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. All applicants must arrive before 8AM PT for registration.

All TUF 17 candidates must be at least 21 years old, have a minimum of three professional Mixed Martial Arts fights – and hold a winning record (with verifiable records). Applications, which should be completed and brought to the tryouts, can be found online.

Fighters will be asked to grapple and hit pads, so please dress appropriately and bring all necessary gear.

Applicants will be notified at the end of tryouts if they have been selected to continue in the casting process. If selected, contestants must be prepared to stay in Las Vegas until September 22nd.

TUF 17 is expected to debut on FX in early 2013. Coaches have not yet been announced.

Middleweights were most recently featured on TUF 11, where Court McGee emerged as season winner. Ryan Bader captured the light heavyweight tournament on TUF 8.
