UFC BJ Penn

BJ Penn (Pictured) cut his retirement short because he felt up-and-comer Rory MacDonald was the perfect test at this stage in his future UFC Hall of Fame career. If a tough challenge was what Penn was searching for, then he found it when “UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Diaz” comes rolling around.

According to the Gambling Gods, Penn probably should have stayed retired. The powers that be have pegged the former multi-divisional champion a 2-to-1 underdog against MacDonald.

“Ares,” on the other hand, checks in as a 3-to-1 odds-on favorite to continue his ascent up the welterweight totem pole.

Will it be out with the old and in with the new on December 8th, or will Penn find a way to serve up an upset special?

The 170-pounders collide inside Key Arena in Seattle, Washington.

Here are the early wagering lines for Penn vs. MacDonald (Courtesy of BetUS):

Underdog (+) Favorite (-)

BJ Penn +200
Rory MacDonald -300

Gambling 101:

Bet $100 on Penn and he’s victorious, you win $200
Bet $300 on MacDonald and he’s victorious, you win $100
