UFC's The Ultimate Fighter

Calling all wannabe Octagon superstars! The UFC will be holding tryouts for “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 2” on October 14th in Rio de Janeiro. The third international installment of the long-running reality series features the lightweight and welterweight divisions.

This marks the second time TUF has taken its talents to jiu jitsu country. Rony “Jason” and Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira claimed their respective tournaments in the inaugural season of “TUF: Brazil.”

Auditions will be held at Hotel Windsor, Av. Lucio Costa, 2630 – Barra da Tijuca. All applicants must arrive before 7AM BRT for registration.

All TUF candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 35, have a minimum of three professional Mixed Martial Arts fights – and hold a winning record (with verifiable records). Applications, which should be completed and brought to the tryouts, can be found online.

Fighters will be asked to grapple and hit pads, so please dress appropriately and bring all necessary gear.

Applicants will be notified at the end of the tryouts if they have been selected to continue on in the casting process. If selected, applicants must be prepared to stay in Rio de Janeiro until October 17th to undergo medical and toxicology tests. Accommodations for the extended stay will be paid for by the UFC.

Coaches for TUF Brazil 2 have not been named.

The tryouts come one day after the Octagon hosts UFC 153 in Brazil.
