Former UFC stars Miguel Torres (Pictured) and Anthony Johnson have secured opponents for World Series of Fighting’s inaugural event.
Torres co-headlines the November 3rd festivities against bantamweight Marlon Moraes, while Johnson battles D.J. Linderman in a light heavyweight affair.
“With the addition of these two matchups, we have assembled a complete main card that we feel is stacked from top to bottom with some of the finest talent in the sport of MMA,” said World Series of Fighting president Ray Sefo. “MMA has an opportunity to expand its reach thanks to the NBC Sports Network platform and World Series of Fighting is going to be sure to make the most of this opportunity in order to take our great sport to unprecedented, new heights.”
Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski headlines the bash opposite Devin Cole.
The show takes place at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Nevada. NBC Sports Network (formerly known as Versus Network) will broadcast the main card live beginning at 10:30PM ET/7:30PM PT.
