Thirteen athletes who competed in “UFC 153: Silva vs. Bonnar” have been issued medical suspension.

Light heavyweights Glover Teixeira (Pictured) and opponent Fabio Maldonado are among five fighters who could be riding the pine for as long as 180 days.

Chris Camozzi, Luiz Cane and Sergio Moraes are also facing six-month suspensions. However, all five of these contestants can return to action sooner with a doctor’s note.

UFc 153 took place October 13th inside HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro.

Because Brazil lacks an athletic commission to oversee mixed martial arts shows, UFC officials took the lead as the event’s governing body.
