Dustin Poirier Battles Jonathan Brookins at ‘The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale’

UFC Featherweight Dustin Poirier

On Saturday, it was announced featherweight Dustin Poirier (Pictured) will look to right the ship against Jonathan Brookins at “The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale.”

“The Diamond” was well on his way to challenging for the 145-pound title until “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung served up an upset special this past May. The submission loss marked Poirier’s first defeat in his past seven outings.

Brookins was last seen getting tapped out by Charles Oliveira. “The Ultimate Fighter 12” winner has only won half of his four bouts inside the Octagon.

The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts the December 15th festivities.
