An undisclosed injury has forced TJ Dillashaw out of his December 8th scrap against Mike Easton. As we all know full well, the Octagon show waits for no man.
Bryan Caraway (Pictured) has agreed to step in and face Easton at “UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Diaz.”
Caraway, Dillashaw’s “The Ultimate Fighter 14” castmate, will be riding a three-fight winning streak into the bout. “Kid Lightning” was last seen submitting Mitch Gagnon at UFC 149.
Easton has won eight consecutive contests. “The Hulk” has posted wins over Byron Bloodworth, Jared Papazian and Ivan Menjivar, respectively, since making his Octagon debut in October 2011.
The 135-pounders will appear in the event’s prelims, which airs live on FUEL TV at 5PM ET/2PM PT.
FOX broadcasts the four featured fights live beginning at 8PM ET/5PM PT.
UFC on FOX 5 takes place inside Key Arena in Seattle, Washington.
