After watching Cung Le serve up an upset special this past Saturday against Rich Franklin, fight fans have been chomping at the bit for another taste of some longshot lovin’.
Thankfully, the Octagon comes storming back this weekend with another set of investment options. UFC 154 features a welterweight title unification bout between interim champ Carlos Condit (Pictured) and reigning king Georges St-Pierre.
Condit is pegged as a 2.5-to-1 underdog against GSP, while the UFC’s golden boy checks in as a significant 3.5-to-1 odds-on favorite.
Given St-Pierre’s lengthy 19-month hiatus and surgically repaired right knee, this could be the most vulnerable the division’s G.O.A.T. has ever been.
However, the French-Canadian will have home-cage advantage because UFC 154 jumps off in GSP’s backyard of Montreal.
