“UFC 154: St-Pierre vs. Condit” is more than halfway over, as all seven of the card’s preliminary bouts have now entered the mixed martial arts record books.
Hopefully for fight fans, the prelims won’t be an indication of things to come. So far, four ho-hum fights have been determined by the three judges sitting Octagon-side.
Cyrille Diabate’s (Pictured) 1stRound rear-naked choke on Chad Griggs will challenge Ivan Menjivar’s thrilling armbar over Azamat Gashimov for ‘Submission of the Night’ honors.
The final preliminary bout ended in controversy, as Patrick Cote was handed a disqualification win after eating several shots to the back of the head. Alessio Sakara probably could have finished the job if he was more precise with his onslaught.
The pay-per-view broadcast begins live at 10PM ET/7PM PT.
