In a monumental maneuver to capture “90%+ market share in Asia,” ONE FC has entered into an exclusive partnership with Glory where the two fight promotions will share athletes.
“ONE FC and Glory have joined forces with an exclusive partnership, further enhancing the power of the ONE FC Network,” the Singapore-based mixed martial arts promotion announced on Twitter. “ONE FC fighters will now be able to compete in Glory and DREAM events.
“Through the combination of the ONE FC Network and exclusive contracts with ONE FC fighters, ONE FC has a 90%+ market share in Asia.”
The organizations will begin their partnership immediately, with ONE FC fighters performing in Glory and DREAM’s New Year’s Eve extravaganza. Former DREAM champions Shinya Aoki (Pictured) and Bibiano Fernandes are expected to appear in the show.
Glory will take care of the kickboxing side of the hybrid event, as they will be hosting their 16-man heavyweight tournament on December 31st inside Saitama Super Arena in Japan.
