As expected, a heavyweight affair between Josh Barnett (Pictured) and Nandor Guelmino has been made official for “Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine.” The UFC’s little brother has now confirmed 11 fights for the January 12th lineup.

Barnett makes his return to action after a unanimous decision defeat to Daniel Cormier in the finals of Strikeforce’s Heavyweight Grand Prix. “The Warmaster” broke his hand in the May contest and has been riding the pine ever since.

Guelmino owns a 11-3-1 professional record. He has never competed on a stage this bright or against an opponent as accomplished.

The 265-pound affair is expected to air during the Showtime broadcast, which begins at 10PM ET/PT.

Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma will serve as host.
