A lot of firsts were revealed during Thursday’s press conference in Seattle. For the first time in the history of ever, UFC president Dana White slapped a UFC belt on a woman.

Moments after that, White announced freshly-crowned bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey (Pictured) and Liz Carmouche will be the first females to ever headline an Octagon show. The 135-pounders will serve as the featured attraction at UFC 157.

Rousey became the UFC’s first female fighter last month. The former Strikeforce champ was immediately dubbed the UFC bantamweight queen, and today she has the hardware to prove it.

The “Rowdy” one’s résumé reads a perfect 6-0, with all of her fights ending in 1stRound armbar submission fashion. Rousey was last seen in August disposing of Sarah Kaufman.

Carmouche owns a respectable 7-2 professional mark. She’ll be riding a two-fight winning streak into the biggest scrap of her life.

“Girl-Rilla” has been begging to be the first to get a crack at Rousey inside the Octagon. Be careful what you wish for…

For those wondering how this move affects Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos, White said Cyborg will likely get the winner.

Honda Center in Anaheim, California hosts the February 23nd festivities.

Here are the athletes expected to perform in The OC:

Urijah Faber vs. Ivan Menjivar

Liz Carmouche vs. Ronda Rousey (UFC bantamweight champion)
