UFC Dana White

During Thursday’s pre-fight press conference, UFC president Dana White (Pictured) jokingly hoped none of the athletes in attendance fell on stage and hurt themselves before Saturday’s scraps. Given the rash of injuries that have ravaged several Octagon shows in 2012, the tongue-in-cheek comment carried a sense of seriousness to it.

While none of “UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Diaz’s” featured fighters suffered an injury, White reported Friday morning Tim Means slipped in the sauna while trying to cut weight for today’s weigh-ins and knocked himself out.

KO’d himself??? Please tell me someone has the video footage.

White said Marcus LeVesseur has agreed to serve as a last-second substitute to fight Abel Trujillo in the card’s prelims.

LeVesseur was originally slated to face Michael Chiesa in the event, but was pulled just four days ago after Chiesa became ill.

That news came only two days after Brendan Schaub was removed from the lineup after opponent Lavar Johnson tore his groin.

Here is the show’s revised agenda:

Preliminary Card:

(Facebook 4:20PM ET/1:20PM PT)

Scott Jorgensen vs. John Albert

Dennis Siver vs. Nam Phan

Marcus LeVesseur vs. Abel Trujillo

Daron Cruickshank vs. Henry Martinez

Joe Proctor vs. Ramsey Nijem

Raphael Assuncao vs. Mike Easton

Jeremy Stephens vs. Yves Edwards

Main Card:

Matt Brown vs. Mike Swick

BJ Penn vs. Rory MacDonald

Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Alexander Gustafsson

Nate Diaz vs. Benson Henderson (UFC lightweight champion)
