The Washington State Department of Licensing has medically suspended every athlete who competed in this past Saturday’s “UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Diaz” event.
The majority of the fighters were issued a mandatory seven-day ban, while several contestants will be riding the pine indefinitely until cleared by a physician.
Nate Diaz (Pictured), Alexander Gustafsson and BJ Penn are among nine combatants who have been handed indefinite leaves.
UFC on FOX 5 took place inside Key Arena in Seattle.

Nam Phan: 45-day suspension with no contact for 30 days. Indefinite suspension until cleared with CT scan

Henry Martinez: 60 days, and indefinite suspension until cleared with CT scan and chest X-ray

BJ Penn: 45-day suspension with no contact for 30 days. Indefinite suspension until cleared by doctor for facial damage.

Marucio “Shogun” Rua: 30 days
Alexander Gustafsson: 30 days minimum suspension. Indefinite suspension until cleared by doctor for right ankle, otherwise out 180 days.
