Bellator Fighting Championships announced this morning that the organization will be making their return on April 8th, 2010. This time, the Hispanic-centered MMA organization will host up to 24 LIVE nationally televised primetime events on Fox Sports Net, NBC, and Telemundo.

Under the terms of their new agreement, live events will air Thursday nights on FOX Sports Net, and highlight packages will run Saturday nights on both NBC and Telemundo.

Season 1 for the rookie MMA organization was hosted by ESPN Deportes. Although they lasted the entire season on the popular mainstream network, it appears the numbers weren’t good enough to warrant coverage for two additional seasons.

Thankfully, FSN stepped up to collect the leftovers as they continue their attempts to tap into the ever-growing mixed martial arts movement.

They have also broadcast IFL and Affliction Entertainment events in the past, however we all know how those two companies ended up.
