When Nick Diaz (Pictured) was slated to challenge reigning UFC welterweight king Georges St-Pierre for his crown last year, he was pegged as a 3-to-1 underdog to steal GSP’s crown.
Fast forward 14 months, which includes a year-long marijuana suspension, and not much has changed for Mr. 209’s chances of beating the baddest 170-pounder on the planet.
Diaz will be entering the March 16th scrap as a +325 longshot to dethrone “Rush.” St-Pierre, meanwhile, checks in as a 4.5-to-1 odds-on favorite to retain his title.
FYI – St-Pierre was just over a 4-to-1 favorite when he was supposed to meet Diaz at UFC 137.
Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada hosts the March 16th festivities.
