Seattle’s loss is Anaheim’s gain. On Wednesday evening, a heavyweight scrap between Brendan Schaub (Pictured) and Lavar Johnson and a lightweight affair with Michael Chiesa and Anton Kuivanen were added to the “UFC 157: Rousey vs. Carmouche” lineup.
Schaub, Johnson and Chiesa were all initially slotted to perform earlier this month at “UFC on FOX 5.” However, Johnson was forced to withdraw with a pulled groin, while Chiesa was removed from his bout with Marcus LeVesseur at the 11th hour due to illness.
Where the two fights will appear in the February 23rd lineup depends upon how the rest of the roster rounds out.
Honda Center in California hosts the festivities. A women’s bantamweight title tilt between freshly-minted champion Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche headline the pay-per-view broadcast.
Here are the athletes expected to perform in The OC:
Neil Magny vs. Jon Manley
Josh Neer vs. Court McGee
Michael Chiesa vs. Anton Kuivanen
Brendan Schaub and Lavar Johnson
Urijah Faber vs. Ivan Menjivar
Dan Henderson vs. Lyoto Machida
