After an entertaining night of MMA action, UFC president Dana White awarded Joe Lauzon (Pictured), Jim Miller, John Moraga and Todd Duffee each an additional $65,000 for their special performances Saturday night at “UFC 155.”
Moraga kicked the card off in style by rallying to slap on a guillotine choke on Chris Cariaso. The tapout not only earned Moraga a 2-0 mark inside the Octagon, but also ‘Submission of the Night’ honors.
Lauzon survived a mauling from Miller in the opening round to put on the most thrilling affair of the evening. The lightweights earned ‘Fight of the Night’ for their 15-minute battle.
Duffee ended his two-year Octagon hiatus in spectacular fashion by steamrolling Phil DeFries with a vicious barrage of strikes. The assault scored him ‘Knockout of the Night.’
UFC 154 took place inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
