A lightweight affair between Jim Miller and Joe Lauzon (Pictured) co-headlined “UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez II” on Saturday night.

MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada is hosting tonight’s festivities. The show is headlined by a heavyweight title tilt between reigning champion Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez.

Here is the play-by-play from Miller vs. Lauzon:

1stRound:

Miller comes out firing, landing knees and several short elbows. Miller tags him with a few more punches in the clinch. Lauzon finally responds with some shots of his own. Miller is laying the lumber. He tries a standing arm triangle choke to no avail. Time is called to check the blood that’s gushing from Lauzon’s face. Game on. Miller is relentless with his assault. Lauzon nails him with a knee to the midsection that backs Miller up. Miller looks spectacular.

2ndRound:

The cut is on the inside of Lauzon’s left eyebrow. It’s already bleeding. Despite dominating him in the standup game, Miller takes him down for some reason. He advances to full mount. The canvas is covered with Lauzon’s blood. Lauzon reverses. Time is called to cut the loose tape from Lauzon’s glove. Game on. Lauzon attempts a leg lock, but it’s too slippery from his own blood.

3rdRound:

Miller takes his legs out with a kick. He clobbers Lauzon with another inside leg kick. Lauzon is taking a licking and keeps on ticking. Miller eats a knee and appears wobbly. Lauzon dives for a leg and is attempting an ankle lock. He now tries a front choke, but runs out of time. This has got to be ‘Fight of the Night.’
