Are you planning to watch Strikeforce’s finale on Showtime? Well, how about if Showtime was offering the event for $FREE.99?
The premium cable channel will be sending Strikeforce off in freebie fashion by offering a free-preview weekend that starts Friday night and runs through Sunday night. Strikeforce plays its swan song on Saturday.
Showtime has approximately 22 million paid subscribers. However, with their gratis offering, roughly 58 million more homes will be able to watch this weekend’s action.
As customary with all mixed martial arts events on Showtime, only fans with access to an east coast feed will be able to see the scraps live.
Showtime Extreme will broadcast four of the event’s prelims beginning at 8PM ET/PT, while Showtime airs the main card at 10PM ET/PT.
The night’s first two bouts won’t be made available for live viewing.
“Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine” takes place inside Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
