UFC Light Heavyweight Jon Jones

The world will be watching Sunday’s AFC Championship Game very closely, but nobody has as much skin in the pigskin game as the Joneses.

Everybody already knows the Baltimore Ravens will be looking to upset the New England Patriots to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl, but the underlying story is older brother Arthur Jones, who plays defensive end for the Ravens, hopes his team plays one more game this season than younger bro Chandler, who’s in his rookie year with the Pats.

Mom and dad haven’t disclosed who they will be pulling for today, but middle brother Jon, who happens to be the reigning UFC light heavyweight king, didn’t hesitate to pick a side.

“I found myself naturally rooting for the Ravens throughout the course of the year,” Jon admitted to FUEL TV. “I’ve met a lot of the Ravens’ wives and families and stuff like that, so I have more of an emotional connection to a lot the players.

“But, obviously as a big brother, seeing your little brother do better than you is always a great thing. So, me and Arthur are pulling for Chandler, but I think I wouldn’t mind seeing the Ravens take it home.”

“Bones'” boss won’t be too pleased with his choice. UFC president Dana White is from Boston and is the ultimate Patriots fanboy.

If you’re into that sort of thing (and who isn’t ?), the Pats are favored to win by 8 points.

Jon is slated to defend his throne against Chael Sonnen at UFC 159 on April 27th, but he’ll be in Foxborough watching today’s game live.
