Post-Fight Press Conference Notes:

According to UFC president Dana White, 10,275 fans packed the arena, garnering a live gate of $2.437 million.

Bigfoot says they knew Overeem would gas in the later rounds. Game plan worked perfectly.

White said he might arrange Cain Velasquez vs. Bigfoot Silva II.

Maia said he wishes he would have dropped to welterweight earlier in his career, but can’t ponder the past.

White says Chris Weidman will likely get next Anderson Silva next. He thought Evans looked the worst he ever has.

White stated Anthony Pettis just texted him and said he wants to drop to 145 and challenge Aldo for his belt next.

White says Aldo is one of the top four or five pound-for-pound.

Edgar refuses to make any excuses or blames judging. Props to Aldo.

Edgar isn’t sure what weight class he’ll be fighting in moving forward. Things seem to end the same way regardless.

Silva was asked if he talked to Overeem after the fight, “Yes, after knockout, he’s my friend now.”

White isn’t sure if Junior dos Santos vs. Overeem is on the radar.
