On Monday morning, UFC president Dana white revealed heavyweights Travis Browne (Pictured) and Gabriel Gonzaga have committed to collide April 13th at “The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale.”
Browne is looking to bounce back from the only blemish on his professional résumé. “Hapa” was unbeaten through 14 fights (1 draw), until tearing his hamstring in the opening moments against Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva this past October.
Bigfoot quickly took advantage of his one-legged opponent to post a 1stRound TKO victory.
Gonzaga, meanwhile, is less than one month removed from a submission win over Ben Rothwell. The former 265-pound top contender is perfect through his first two bouts since returning to the UFC after a one-fight hiatus.
The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada is expected to host the bash.
