It’s just another manic Monday for “The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale” bout announcements. Shortly after confirming a pair of scraps for the April 13th lineup, the UFC reported reigning flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson (Pictured) will put his strap on the line against John Moraga in the show’s featured attraction.
Johnson is just 16 days removed from making his first successful title defense. “Mighty Mouse” took a unanimous decision victory over John Dodson to notch his 17th professional win in 20 tries.
Moraga, meanwhile, submitted Chris Cariaso at UFC 155 to bump his big league record to a perfect 2-0. The up-and-coming 28-year-old owns a 13-1 mark overall.
The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada is expected to host the bash.
Here are the athletes expected to perform in the show:
Miesha Tate vs. Cat Zingano
Daniel Pineda vs. Justin Lawrence.
Bart Palaszewski vs. Cole Miller
Travis Browne vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
