If you forgot to set your DVRs to record this morning’s “UFC on FUEL TV: Barao vs. McDonald” event over in London, don’t feel too badly. You didn’t really miss much.
Of the card’s 12 scraps, nine of them ended via decision. That includes Jimi Manuwa’s doctor’s stoppage TKO victory over Cyrille Diabate.
Nonetheless, there was a title on the line. Renan Barao (Pictured) successfully defended his interim bantamweight crown against 22-year-old Michael McDonald in the show’s featured attraction.
The co-main event between Cub Swanson and Dustin Poirier was probably the most thrilling bout of the evening. However, the featherweights weren’t awarded with ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus checks to prove it.
Wembley Arena in England hosted Saturday’s show.
