On this week’s edition of FUEL TV’s UFC Tonight, it was announced lightweight Donald Cerrone (Pictured) will welcome Strikeforce transfer KJ Noons to the big leagues at UFC 160.
The event takes place May 25th inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Cerrone is looking to bounce back from January’s highlight reel knockout loss to bitter rival Anthony Pettis. “Cowboy” has won eight out of his last 10 scraps.
Speaking of trying to right the ship, Noons enters the Octagon on a two-fight skid. The former EliteXC lightweight champion has been defeated in four of his past five outings.
A heavyweight title tilt between champ Cain Velasquez and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva headlines the Memorial Day weekend event.
Here is the card’s current roster:
Stephen Thompson vs. Amir Sadollah
KJ Noons vs. Donald Cerrone
Junior dos Santos vs. Alistair Overeem
Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva vs. Cain Velasquez (UFC heavyweight champion)
