A welterweight affair between Court McGee (Pictured) and Josh Neer was the second scrap to air live during Saturday’s “UFC 157: Rousey vs. Carmouche” pay-per-view broadcast.

Honda Center in Anaheim, California is hosting tonight’s festivities. The show is headlined by a bantamweight title tilt between champion Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche.

Neer wobbles him with a left hook. Stiff jab by McGee. He follows up with a jab-kick combo. McGee’s hands look sharp. He’s doing a solid job of using his reach advantage. Big left hand by McGee. Neer just keeps taking these shots without returning fire. McGee hurts him with a kick to the liver. He’s going to town to the body now. Neer crumbles to the canvas. McGee tries a rear-naked choke just before the horn sounds.

McGee looks fantastic in his welterweight debut. Neer is much more active in the middle stanza. Solid jab by Neer. He follows up with a big uppercut. Neer is starting to turn the tables in the standup game. Neer unleashing combinations now. McGee is not quite as aggressive as he was in the previous round. Neer motions for him to come get some.

This scrap’s up for grabs, and it appears the momentum has swung in Neer’s direction. McGee has him clinched against the cage. McGee scores a brief takedown. Neer’s face is bloodied, so that might play a role in the scorecards if the judges have their say in this. McGee lands another takedown. McGee attempts an arm-triangle choke to no avail. He settles for battering Neer’s face with short elbows instead.
