UFC Bantamweight Demetrious Johnson

Just 15 days after announcing flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson (Injured) would defend his throne against John Moraga at “The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale,” it was reported on this week’s edition of FUEL TV’s UFC Tonight that an undisclosed injury has forced Johnson out of the April 13th scrap.

Moraga’s fate was not specified, but it was reported the promotion is now searching for a new main event for the show. So depending on the extent of Johnson’s injury, it’s possible Moraga will be shelved until he returns.

Johnson is one month removed from making his first successful title defense. “Mighty Mouse” took a unanimous decision victory over John Dodson to notch his 17th professional win in 20 tries.

A yet-to-be announced venue in Las Vegas, Nevada will host the festivities.

Here are the athletes expected to perform in the show:

Miesha Tate vs. Cat Zingano

Daniel Pineda vs. Justin Lawrence.

Bart Palaszewski vs. Cole Miller

Travis Browne vs. Gabriel Gonzaga

TUF 17 Finalist vs. TUF 17 Finalist
