According to the California State Athletic Commission, 13,257 fans packed the Honda Center in Anaheim this past Saturday to witness “UFC 157: Rousey vs. Carmouche.”
The watershed event garnered a live gate of $1,350,191.
Of the 13,257 folks in attendance, the CSAC reports 11,116 fans paid to enter the venue, while 2,141 people received complimentary tickets.
The official numbers are slightly off from the preliminary figures UFC president Dana White reported during the UFC 157 post-fight press conference. White initially said 15,525 fans had packed the arena, generating $1.4 million at the door.
The pay-per-view broadcast featured the first female fight in Octagon history. Bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey submitted Liz Carmouche in the first round via armbar in the show’s featured attraction.
