Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, is taped speaking out publicly for the first time since his July 15th arrest. On UFC President Dana White’s video blog, Rampage is in good spirits, and actually appears to be as upbeat as ever. He reiterated that fact that he has not gone “crazy” like many within the MMA community would like to believe.

The video blog follows White around as he promotes the UFC, more specifically the UFC 87 event this weekend.

At the end of the clip, White is having dinner with Rampage, and they talk about the former champ’s current mental state, as well as where Rampage intends to go from here.

“I knew I wasn’t stupid, and not crazy,” Rampage joked about not being able to read the time on his $100,000 watch. “Delirium, is not crazy.”

A thankful Rampage wanted to send the following message to his fans and supporters, “I just want all my fans to know, thank you for all the support and Rampage will be back.”

Also, in a roundabout way he did confirm his split with longtime trainer and friend, Junito Ibarra. “I’m training already, I got new trainers, man they’re off the chain, homie.
“They teaching me how to do this here, do that there. My next opponent, you better watch out and be well. That’s for real, homie. I’m training hard, because I got a lot of stuff to prove, you know what I’m sayin?’ I ain’t no chump, homie. I ain’t no chump. I ain’t gaining weight no more. I ain’t gonna be fat like I was on that show [The Ultimate Fighter Season 7].”

It is great to see that the fallen champion has gotten back on his feet quickly after his situation last month. Here is Rampage’s Timeline since he lost his title to Forrest Griffin at UFC 86.
