“UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Melendez” takes place April 20 inside HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. The planet’s premier mixed martial arts promotion has recently determined which four fights will air live during the FOX broadcast.
A lightweight title tilt between UFC champ Benson Henderson and former Strikeforce champion Gilbert Melendez (pictured) headlines the gig. Heavyweights Frank Mir and Daniel Cormier serve as the night’s co-main event.
A 155-pound shootout with Nate Diaz and Josh Thomson gets third-to-top billing, while welterweights Dan Hardy and Matt Brown round out the main card.
The event’s complete 13-bout lineup has been confirmed. However, the UFC has yet to announce the order of the card’s prelims.
