Move over, Arianny Celeste and Brittney Palmer (at least for the UFC’s less important shows), because there will be a couple of new regulars circling the Octagon very shortly.
The planet’s most prestigious mixed martial arts organization has promoted former Strikeforce card carriers Vanessa Hanson (left) and Chrissy Blair (right) to their exclusive roster of Octagon Girls.
The dynamic duo are expected to make their big league debuts at “The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale‘ on April 13 inside Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Blair and Hanson will make up the UFC’s B-team of ring girls, while Celeste and Palmer will continue to inform fans of which rounds are forthcoming in the promotion’s major events.
The UFC isn’t expected to interchange the pairings.
This marks the first time someone other than Celeste or Palmer was an official Octagon Girl (Rachelle Leah excluded because the UFC’s original queen bee isn’t consistently active) since the company fired Chandella Powell in February 2012 after several soft-core pornographic videos of her past came back to bite her in her firm backside.
On a side note, if the UFC is transferring over Strikeforce card toters, why not Kelli Hutcherson???
