Chris Camozzi -110
Nick Ring -120

Here is the play-by-play from Camozzi vs. Ring:

1stRound: The middleweights trade leg kicks. Nothing significant landing for either fighter thus far. Ring scores with a front kick to the body. “Boring” chants ring throughout the arena. Camozzi charges forward, but comes up empty. They trade right hooks to the dome. They head to their corners to a chorus of boos.

5thRound scored it: Ring, 10-9

2ndRound: Nice one-two combination by Ring. Camozzi continues to get beaten to the punch. He lands a flying knee to Ring’s chest. Ring eats a knee to the grill. Ring isn’t throwing combos, just settling for one-and-done punches and leaves the pocket.

5thRound scored it: Ring, 10-9

3rdRound: Camozzi nails him with three straight punches. Camozzi gets a body lock and has him pressed against the fence. Ring breaks free and connects on a left and straight right hand. Like in the previous two rounds, Camozzi is dictating the fight. I wouldn’t be surprised if the judges end up awarding him with a decision. Ring’s production has slowed significantly. Camozzi gets him with a good jab. Ring’s right eye is swollen shut.

5thRound scored it: Camozzi, 10-9, but likely lost, 29-28

Official Result:

Chris Camozzi Defeats Nick Ring via Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
