A welterweight shootout between Jake Ellenberger (pictured) and Nate Marquardt was the third scrap to air live during Saturday’s “UFC 158: St-Pierre vs. Diaz” pay-per-view broadcast.

Bell Centre in Montreal is hosting tonight’s festivities. The show is headlined by a welterweight title tilt between champion Georges St-Pierre and Nick Diaz.

1stRound: They trade leg kicks. Marquardt goes on the attack, appeared to land a nice right. Ellenberger comes firing back with a one-two combination and leg kick. Ellenberger drops him with a vicious left-right combo. “The Juggernaut” continues his assault on the canvas. One nasty right to the dome and Marquardt is face planted. It’s a wrap. Marquardt tried to protest the stoppage, but he was out without a doubt.
