With UFC 158 officially in its rear-view mirror, the planet’s most prestigious mixed martial arts promotion has turned its attention towards their next pay-per-view show. The five featured fights for “UFC 159: Jones vs. Sonnen” have been announced.
Obviously, light heavyweight king Jon Jones (pictured) defends his throne against Chael Sonnen in the night’s main attraction. Middleweight rivals Michael Bisping and Alan Belcher serve as the co-main event.
Heavyweights Roy Nelson and Cheick Kongo receive third-to-top billing.
Lightweight Jim Miller welcomes Strikeforce transfer Pat Healy to the big leagues, while 205-pounders Vinny Magalhaes and Phil Davis round out the main card.
The UFC’s Facebook page and FX will offer the event’s prelims, with the PPV beginning immediately after at 10PM ET/7PM PT.
Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey hosts the April 27 festivities.
