Calling all wannabe Octagon superstars! The UFC will be holding tryouts for “The Ultimate Fighter” on April 15 in Las Vegas. The 18th season of the long-running reality series features bantamweights – men and WOMEN.
Auditions will be held in the Grand Ballroom at Palace Station Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. All applicants must arrive before 8AM PT for registration.
All TUF 18 candidates must be at least 21 years old, have the legal ability to live and work in the United States, and have a minimum of three professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fights – holding a winning record (with verifiable records).
Online applications should be completed and brought to the tryouts.
Fighters will be asked to grapple and hit pads, so please dress appropriately and bring all necessary gear.
Applicants will be notified at the end of tryouts if they have been selected to continue in the casting process. If selected, contestants must be prepared to stay in Las Vegas until April 19.
TUF 18 is expected to debut in the fall of 2013. It is unknown if the show will continue to air on FX or transition to FOX Sports 1.
Bantamweight queen Ronda Rousey (pictured) will coach opposite the winner of the April 13 scrap between Miesha Tate and Cat Zingano. The coaches will battle for Rousey’s crown once filming wraps on the show.
