The UFC on FOX 7 lineup has made its second change in as many days. Francisco Rivera is the lineup’s latest casualty.
An undisclosed injury has forced the bantamweight out of his April 20 fight against Hugo Viana. Have no fear, because TJ Dillashaw (pictured) has agreed to serve as a last-second replacement.
The UFC reported the swap Friday afternoon.
Dillashaw is just six days removed from knocking out Issei Tamura at UFC 158. “The Ultimate Fighter 14” finalist will be riding a three-fight winning streak into the contest.
Viana, who is a TUF: Brazil alum, owns a perfect 7-0 record. His last two tangos have taken place inside the Octagon.
The 135-pounders will battle in the night’s prelims.
Late Thursday night, it was announced Dan Hardy was forced out of the event with an injury.
