Most MMA fans were less than thrilled to hear Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva would get first crack at Cain Velasquez’s (pictured) UFC heavyweight crown, particularly since Velasquez already throttled the Brazilian less than a year ago. The rematch won’t even be close, they professed.
Well, the Gambling Gods seem to agree with the masses.
The powers that be have pegged Velasquez as a whopping 6.5-to-1 odds-on favorite to steamroll Bigfoot.
Silva, on the other hand, is more than a 4-to-1 longshot to dethrone Velasquez.
The 265-pounders collide May 25 at UFC 160. MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts the shootout.
