After voluntarily leaving the Blackzilians to return to Greg Jackson’s talented squad, only to be denied at Jackson’s doorstep less than 24 hours later, UFC lightweight Melvin Guillard (pictured) has finally found a new home.

Guillard has become the latest member of Grudge Training Center in Colorado.

“Just landed in Denver let the training camp began,” Guillard recently tweeted. “Heading to my first workout with team grudge I sleep in a basement these are the thing’s I’ve been missing felt good let’s get it.”

The controversial slugger followed Jackson’s lead towards the top of the UFC’s steep 155-pound totem pole, but Guillard chose to take his talents to Boca Raton, Florida after losing to Joe Lauzon at UFC 136 in October 2011.

Unfortunately for the 30-year-old, he went just 1-3 under the Blackzilians’ watch. That’s why he was hoping to recapture the magic he achieved with Jackson just two years ago.

According to reports, Guillard was blackballed at Jackson’s because of some comments he made following his initial departure.

Guillard makes this latest change at a crucial stage in his career. He has dropped four of his past five scraps inside the Octagon, including two straight, and could be headed for the unemployment line should he run the reverse trifecta.

Melvin don’t call me “The Young Assassin” anymore, but “YA THE GUILLARD” (don’t ask me what it’s supposed to mean), hopes Grudge can lead him back to the winner’s circle July 27 when he meets Mac Danzig at UFC on FOX 8.
